Nice fan and remote very poor smart control.

I am incredibly disappointed in the smart capabilities of this fan. I arraigned for two of these to be purchased for a renovation project due to the operating manual available (on this product page) specifically mentioning to use the Bond Home app for smart control. As these fans were to be integrated with Home Assistant (a privacy-focused local control automation system) this was important. However Hinkley has as some point replaced it with a Smart Life controller and does not allow local access to their fans for smart home control. These were expensive fans and I am now unable to link them to the owner's smart home. The 3rd-party control offerings Hinkley now allows are Google Alexa and SmartThings. These all require the fans to be controlled through Hinkley's servers meaning the smart aspect may die when Hinkley discontinues them.

This attractive Ceiling fan has all of the features I was looking for. The unit is quiet and did not require balancing. I liked the fact that the remote control fits into the Decora panel of the switch plate and that the manual switch is hidden behind it. The light is bright unlike some of the other units I've seen.I am pleased with my purchase

The Hover fan/light I purchased from you is even nicer than I expected. Very obvious great quality. I really like the way the control mounts on the wall but can be removed and used as a remote. Thank you for making such a nice product.

This ultra quiet fan is not only engineered for great air flow but it has several extra-convenience features. We especially like the magnetic mount for the remote control i.e. put it in your pocket to take with you to adjust the fan and lights where you can actually see and feel the result immediately or use it like a wall-mounted switch where it's never misplaced. The fan blades are gorgeous and the fit and finish are highest quality. Thanks Hinkley!

Moves a lot of air

The fan moves far more air than I would have expected for only a 3 bladed fan. Of the 6 speeds we only use the first two in our bedroom because it does move so much air. Also it is extremely quiet there is really no motor noise at all. Lastly it was much lighter in weight that the fan it replaced (21 years old) and so it was much easier to install.

Love the color style and remote to control fan and dimmer. The fan is so quiet. Would reco 3' down rod vs 2' for 13' ceiling height. The light is not as bright but it is pretty high up on our vaulted ceiling. Highly recommend.

The build quality is excellent and they move plenty of air. I really like how the Hiro remote can mount into a Decora switch space making for a clean installation. The Bond implementation provides great app integration.

The fan fits perfectly in our space and looks great. Installation instructions were complete and easy to follow. Only difficulty was getting the receiver box to fit amidst all the wires. I would think in today's world of miniaturization that the receiver could be smaller and easier to fit in the hanger bracket. Otherwise all went well and pairing with the controller was seamless. Very happy with the fan and overall outcome.

We are using this fan under. patio cover. It looks better in person and was not difficult to install. The wall controls are nice but have a delay before the fan moves.

Our old screened in porch fan didn't always produce enough circulation. Our new Hinkley Hover fan exceeded all our expectations. It was attractive easy to use and provided great circulation.

I purchased this fan for my lanai to replace one that was destroyed in Hurrican Ian. I love the more modern streamlined look of this fan. It has clean lines and only the 3 blades as compared to my prior fan that was heavy looking outdated and had 5 blades. I love the remote function so I don't have to go over to a wall switch to turn it on and off or increase or decrease the speed. This fan has a high quality motor and you do not hear this fan even at it's highest speed. It produces a wonderful breeze and helps keep the no-seums away. I love it.

I bought 5 of these fans 3 for a porch and 2 for inside. They are wonderful I love the remote they stick in the wall but then you can just pull them out easily if you need to. And they have a little bit of a magnet in them so they don't fall out of the wall. I am upgrading from fans that are 16 years old and these fans are by far stonger quieter and reasonable priced.
